You have made a wonderful decision, one that we believe will bring countless blessings from our Father in Heaven. Whether you are joining us as a new believer seeking to follow Christ in baptism, or by profession of faith or letter, we joyfully welcome you to the New Bethel family!

The gospel message is central to all that we do here at New Bethel. As the Word of God tells us, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17). We celebrate this transformation in your life and rejoice in the steps you are taking to grow in faith. Through the saving grace of Jesus Christ, we are called into fellowship with Him and with one another, and we are excited to walk this journey with you.

Our heartfelt goal is to ensure you experience the love of Christ through our community of believers. As the body of Christ, we are called to “carry each other’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2), and you will find members here ready to support you. Whether it is preparing for baptism, learning about the ministries at New Bethel, or simply finding fellowship, we are here to help you grow in the knowledge and grace of Jesus Christ.

We also encourage all new members to attend our New Members Class during Enrichment Hour on Wednesday evenings. This class will introduce you to our Biblical beliefs, the foundations of our faith, and the many ways you can be a part of the gospel mission through our ministries.

As you grow in your faith and connect with the loving hearts at New Bethel, we invite you to actively serve in a ministry where you can use your God-given gifts for His glory. “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:10).

Being an active member is not only personally enriching but also a vital part of building up the body of Christ. As Pastor Smith lovingly reminds every new member, “Come and work for the Lord.” We look forward to serving the Kingdom together, proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ!
